Liquid eyeliner can be a pain in the a**. You try and try but it never looks quite right for some unknown reason.

It was all worth it because now I can actually do one in under a minute and you will too! (no need to be late like me). These 5 steps were basically my morning routine during high school. Read up to learn how to achieve that sleek, liquid eyeliner look without the struggle.
Things you need:
- Liquid eyeliner - the best ones are waterproof and easy to remove like our Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner - Black Marble
- Eyeshadow primer
Step By Step Tutorial – How To Apply Liquid Eyeliner
1. Apply eyeshadow primer
Use an eyeshadow primer before applying liquid eyeliner to prevent the inky color from transferring all over your lids. It helps the liner dry a little faster than on a naked eyelid, which can often be naturally greasy.
2. Hold the brush flat
Begin by shaking your eyeliner tube well, so the formula is nice and smooth. For the perfect eyeliner application, the most important thing is to hold the brush flat. If you go straight in with the brush it tends to get messy.
Tip: Keep both eyes a little open and squint in a mirror as you create your liner.
3. Start in the middle
Get as close as possible to the lash line and start in the middle as you drag out into the outer corners. Using the remaining product to line the inner corners.
Tip: Try to rest your pinky on your cheek if your hands are very shaky, then add your liner. This technique helps stabilize your hand and reduces the chance of mess-ups.
4. Winging it
Follow your lower lash line, and go up to create a wing. This step will help you ensure your liner is equal.
Tip: You can use a stencil to make it easier. Grab your credit card and put it towards the edge of your outer eyelid sharply facing up. You can also use tape, a business card, or the end of your makeup brush to get a straight line.
Extra step - 5. Cherry on top
You can either use falsies or apply a few coats of mascara to your lashes to complete the look. Try our eye-popping, faux mink Goal Digger lashes.
Now you're all set to show off your even, sharp AF liner wings to the world! (Make sure not to cut anyone) I hope you find this article useful and it helps you master your eyeliner skills.
